As one who is trying to break into Medium stardom, I can hardly be expected to dole out 1,000 claps per article. For one, my clicky finger would get tired. For another, that kind of makes me seem desperate. "Oh!" they'd say. "That guy clapped 1,000 times for my article. I suppose I should do the same for him."

Of course, it won't really matter all that much. I'll get paid $25,000 per month just for being here, contributing my two words per month, and being continuously entertained by your writing (which I honestly do love, by tyhe way). It's one of those rare win-win situations.

This, of course, will require you to produce a lot of content. Perhaps all writers who aren't writing should forego just 5% of their unearned earnings so you can purchase your own AI to write your content so you can also collect your $25,000 monthly without having to actually write anything (more than your two words).
